Eurest Services teams up with Nilfisk to assess autonomous cleaning

Categories: Company News

Eurest Services Canada, a leading provider of facility management and part of Compass Group Canada, has teamed up with Nilfisk to assess the potential of connected autonomous cleaning solutions.

Eurest Services Canada has a strong focus on technology development and continuously evaluates how cleaning innovations can benefit their customers.

As part of this, Eurest Services has teamed up with Nilfisk to assess the current and future potential of autonomous cleaning. The project includes testing out the best possible applications for autonomous cleaning, monitoring and optimizing cleaning through operator feedback and machine data and finally identifying the right training levels.

Paul Rocha, Vice President of Operations at Eurest Services Canada states that autonomous cleaning has the potential to change professional cleaning.

“Once fully matured, the potential of autonomous cleaning solutions is significant. The technology will allow us to free up cleaning operators for higher value tasks which can ultimately increase the quality and productivity of our cleaning services even further”, he says and continues.

“We have teamed up with Nilfisk to assess how autonomous cleaning can be implemented in our way of working and identify benefits and challenges related to this. It is an important first step and we look forward to continuing the development”, concludes Rocha.

Eurest Services will over the coming period of time evaluate autonomous cleaning in close collaboration with a dedicated Nilfisk team who supports and advices on the best possible implementation of the technology.
