Closer to the Market – New Support In Contract Cleaner and Retail Segments

Nilfisk UK continues to demonstrate its' closer to market strategy with several strategic appointments in the Contract Cleaner and Retail segment.

Martin Chambers, Director of Operations and Service, has created a Retail Service division within the national engineering team.

The Retail Service division is a team of retail specialists, engineers equipped solely with retail spares and smaller vans in order to provide a faster response and first time fix rate.

Martin Chambers commented; 'the demands of the retail sector are high, standards continue to increase and our customers expect a fast response and main line spares carried on the van. Our Retail Service division allows us to provide this, initial performance indicators are excellent and we will definitely be expanding this team in the future.'

Support into the Contract Cleaner segment has also been extended by the appointment of Al Davis to the position of Strategic Account Manager.

Al has worked for Nilfisk for 3 years and has already secured excellent partnerships within the Contract Cleaning sector. Al is a very experienced demonstrator, trainer and negotiator who prides himself on dedicated support to the Cleaning Professional. 'If I am asked to assist I do, the customer is always the priority.'
