Urgency demands solidarity — let’s act now
Why is breast cancer research so important:
- More people are surviving breast cancer than ever before. That’s thanks to research. But breast cancer is far from a done deal.
- Too many people are still diagnosed late, once the disease has spread and become incurable. We have treatments, but not enough, and often they come with gruelling side effects. And breast cancer continues to take far too many lives. Around 11,500 women and 90 men every year in the UK. Almost all of them from metastatic breast cancer.
- Breast Cancer Now have a bold vision. That by 2050, everyone with breast cancer will live and live well. But to make that a reality, we need to go further and faster than ever. And world-class research is key to that.
When purchasing a Nilfisk VP300 Pink edition vacuum, we will give £10 to Breast Cancer Now a charity registered in England and Wales (No. 1160558), Scotland (SC045584) and Isle of Man (No. 1200)
