Nilfisk appoints new CEO Hans Henrik Lund

New CEO at Nilfisk with strong background in technology and innovation

 

Australia, Sydney, 17 August 2017 – Hans Henrik Lund has beginning of August 2017 taken up position as new CEO for Nilfisk, a leading global player in the professional cleaning industry.

With Hans Henrik Lund and his strong global background in technology and product development, Nilfisk is set for an innovative course going forward.

“With the appointment of Hans Henrik Lund as new CEO of Nilfisk, we have the right profile to develop and grow Nilfisk, to lead the business as an independently listed company and to execute on our overall strategy of further consolidating our position as a world leader in the professional cleaning equipment industry,” said Jens Due Olsen, Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Hans Henrik Lund, (52), has held several leadership positions in global companies during the past 25 years. He has worked with Danfoss for 10 years in the field of heating automation and another ten years leading mobile accessory companies Jabra and Nokia Gear.

Hans Henrik Lund holds an M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, a Ph.D in Material Science and an MBA in Organization and Business Management. He comes from a position as CEO of the Finnish lighting company Helvar.

Hans Henrik Lund takes over from Lars Gjødsbøl, acting CEO and Head of Global Operations at Nilfisk. With a workforce of more than 5,500 people Nilfisk has sales offices in 45 countries and operates in more than 100 markets globally.
