Warranty for Nilfisk Domestic High-Pressure Washers

All new Nilfisk Domestic High Pressure Washers (“Machine”) are extensively tested in our factories to ensure high quality and performance.
Nilfisk Ltd. warrants to the end user that each new Machine is in good condition, free from defects in material, design, and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.

Consumable parts such as sealing rings, hoses, filters, handguns, lances, nozzles, batteries and accessories are also covered under this Warranty for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

Nilfisk Ltd.’s sole obligations under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Machine and/or consumable part.
Machines that are repaired or replaced under this Warranty will still be covered by this Warranty for the remaining Warranty period, or be covered by a new Warranty period of 6 months, whichever is the longer.

Except as expressly stated in this Warranty, Nilfisk provides no other warranties, whether expressed or implied.

Please note that your warranty is non-transferable and is only valid if you are the original purchaser.

Warranty Extension

Nilfisk products have a standard 2-year warranty, certain products are eligible to a warranty extension of 1-3 years depending on the product. This only applies when you register your eligible product with our warranty extension program within 30 days of purchase. To register and claim your free warranty extension of up to 3 additional years, create an account on yournilfisk.com/uk and register your product. You will need to enter the product name, model, serial number, purchase date & retailer, and a copy of your receipt. You will then receive a confirmation email with your warranty extension certificate, which you can use should you need to make a claim. Please note, this only applies to certain products, see below full list of products included and their warranty extension periods.

Warranty Exclusions

Nilfisk Warranty is a manufacturing cover for your domestic product on the conditions stated above.

This warranty only applies to machines purchased by a Consumer and used for domestic purposes only.  No warranty shall apply for products purchased by a business and/or used for commercial purposes.

This Warranty shall not apply to defects caused by any misuse, neglect, accidental damage, wear and tear, improper storage, installation or careless handling, frost damage/heat damage, alterations not agreed with Nilfisk, the use of incorrect supply voltage, contaminated water supply, unsuitable chemicals.

Nilfisk shall not be liable in any event at any time for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

The rights and benefits under this Warranty are additional to your statutory rights which are not affected by this Warranty.

Warranty for Nilfisk Domestic Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaners

All new Nilfisk Domestic Wet & Dry Vacuums (“Machine”) are extensively tested in our factories to ensure high quality and performance.

Nilfisk Ltd. warrants to the end user that each new Machine is in good condition, free from defects in material, design, and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.

Consumable parts such as hoses, floor nozzles and accessories also covered under this Warranty for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.

Nilfisk Ltd.’s sole obligations under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Machine and/or consumable part.

Machines that are repaired or replaced under this Warranty will still be covered by this Warranty for the remaining Warranty period or be covered by a new Warranty period of 6 months, whichever is the longer.

Nilfisk Consumer Vacuum Cleaner Warranty Conditions

All Nilfisk Dry Bagged Consumer Vacuum Cleaners are covered by a minimum two year guarantee on the machine, which covers the motor, cable re-winder, switch and casing.

However two ranges – the Elite Series and the Select Series are covered by a five year warranty on the machine, which covers the motor, cable re-winder, switch and casing.

The nozzles, filters, hoses, tubes and other accessories are covered twelve months due to manufacturing fault only and excludes wear and tear.

Guarantee repairs are made on the following conditions:

  • That defects are attributable to flaws or defects in materials or workmanship (wear and tear is not covered by the guarantee).
  • That the directions in the instruction manual have been thoroughly observed (defects or damage occurring as a direct or indirect result of incorrect use or lack of maintenance is not covered by the guarantee).
  • ​That a defect is not caused by the use of non-original Nilfisk dust bags and filters.​
  • That the identity number (serial number) is still attached to the vacuum cleaner.
  • That repair has not been carried out or attempted by other than Nilfisk-trained service staff.
  • That the vacuum cleaner has not been used for rental nor used commercially in any other way.​​

The guarantee includes spare parts and labour costs, and covers manufacturing and material defects that may occur during normal domestic use. Service under the guarantee will only be performed if it can be proven that the defect occurred within the product’s guarantee period (a correctly completed guarantee certificate or printed/stamped cash register receipt with date and product type) and on the condition that the vacuum cleaner was bought as a new product and distributed by Nilfisk. The machine should be forwarded to one of Nilfisk's service centres.

Warranty for Nilfisk Domestic Combi - Hard Floor Cleaners

All new Nilfisk Domestic Wet & Dry Vacuums (“Machine”) are extensively tested in our factories to ensure high quality and performance.

Nilfisk Ltd. warrants to the end user that each new Machine is in good condition, free from defects in material, design, and workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of purchase.

Consumable parts such Micro fibre rollers, brushes and blades are not covered in this Warranty.

Nilfisk Ltd.’s sole obligations under this Warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective Machine.

Machines that are repaired or replaced under this Warranty will still be covered by this Warranty for the remaining Warranty period or be covered by a new Warranty period of 6 months, whichever is the longer.

Except as expressly stated in this Warranty, Nilfisk provides no other warranties, whether expressed or implied.
