Corporate Social Responsibility


At Nilfisk, we believe that Corporate Social Responsibility is a crucial part of the future of our business. Our work with CSR is an ongoing process and we believe that positive results will be achieved through persistent, step-by-step development. 
This is part of the reason Nilfisk have implemented a new CSR strategy that makes us capable of working more targeted and strategically with CSR, both internally and externally.
Our strategy has four key focus areas:

Conscious customer relations  
Conscious employer
Conscious part of society
Conscious part of climate and environment.


 


These are the areas we believe will help us improve CSR in Nilfisk going forward. 

In 2010, Nilfisk became signatory to the UN Global Compact. As part of the new strategy, we actively support UNGC goals 3 “Good health and well-being” and 12 “Responsible production and consumption – Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns”. These goals reflect how we are actively contributing to improving the quality of life through our work.

Our work with CSR is an ongoing process and our new CSR strategy provides us with a clear direction for how we are going to develop as a sustainable and profitable business in the future.
