VP600 rewarded with yet another prestigious award

Nilfisk VP600 wins Red Dot Award for Product Design 2016

Since the launch in 2015 the VP600 has already been rewarded with a Purus design award at the CMS show in Berlin and this is now followed up with the prestigious Red Dot Award for Product Design 2016.

The Red Dot Award was given for high design quality and is thereby one of this year’s best in the industry.

Saving energy for the environment as well as our customers is a key focus when designing Nilfisk products. Therefore low energy consumption and innovative new features were a must achieve for the Nilfisk design team when creating the VP600 commercial vacuum.

The VP600 operates at an efficient 350W, enhanced by an 800W power boost at the push of a button when extra muscle is required.

With the highly efficient energy saving fan unit and a sound level of only 66 dB(A) the VP600 is tough to beat. The whisper quiet sound level enables cost-effective daytime cleaning in noise sensitive areas without disturbing shop customers, hotel guests or office staff.

The Nilfisk VP600 is easy to use and time saving due to the modular construction offering two different cable choices. Furthermore, the modular design not only allows flexibility to choose exactly what you need, but it also makes the machine easy to maintain and service for years to come. When a cord is worn out or damaged, it can easily be replaced by a new cord module in no time, providing you with a machine that need never be out of service.

Day to day maintenance like changing the dust bag is now quicker and easier than ever – thanks to the new self-locating magnetic dust bag cover. After replacing the 10L dust bag, the magnet automatically self-locates the lid to the correct position, protecting hinges and locking mechanisms to reduce the risk of damage.

Great user benefits and clever design offers you what you’d expect from a Nilfisk vacuum cleaner and receiving internationally recognised design awards for the second year running surely confirms this !
