New production manager and executive board member at Nilfisk-Advance

Dan Stig Jensen is to join the executive board of Nilfisk-Advance on 1 October 2006 in charge of the Nilfisk-Advance Group's supply chain management. Dan Stig Jensen possesses unique competencies within production technology, logistics and management that have been acquired both in his previous service with Nilfisk-Advance and his subsequent career

Dan Stig Jensen (aged 44) joins Nilfisk-Advance from FOSS Analytical A/S where he held executive responsibility for production and the supply chain functions (ie. production planning, procurement and production flow control). He comes from a position as director and member of the FOSS Analytical management group.

Dan Stig Jensen graduated from Copenhagen Engineering College as a production engineer in 1988. He has supplemented this qualification with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics from Copenhagen Business School in 1992 and a Master's degree in Technology Management from University of Aalborg in 1999.

Dan Stig Jensen's 18-year professional experience covers positions ranging from production planner, system consultant, logistics manager, factory manager and site manager to - most recently - director responsible for production and logstics at FOSS Analytical A/S.

From 1991 to 2000 Dan Stig Jensen was employed in several NKT Group companies. Among other things, during this period he held positions as factory manager for Nilfisk-Advance in Brøndby and as head of one of Nilfisk-Advance's former foreign production subsidiaries. Dan Stig Jensen has also been employed in SDC Dandisc - a company under VT Holding, from where he joined FOSS Analytical.

Dan Stig Jensen will join the executive board of Nilfisk-Advance A/S. The executive board will thereafter consist of Jørgen Jensen (CEO), Christian Cornelius-Knudsen, Claus Michelsen, Anders Terkildsen and Dan Stig Jensen.
