Nilfisk upgrades its road sweeper portfolio

Nilfisk has introduced two upgraded versions of its ride-on road sweeper series. Both RS 851 and RS 1301 meet the demands of modern city cleaning. They are not only productive and cost efficient, they also feature best-in-class performance in terms of both suction and airflow.

New developments on both machines include:
- Engine: VM D703IE3 (RS851) and VM  D754IE3 (RS1301)
- Maintenance Tracking System – a diagnostic/service box
- Complete anticorrosion treatment

Additional features for these machines: safety throttle pedal sensor, new engine air intake filter, emergency switch, battery release switch etc.

To keep street cleaning both effective and within budgetary limits, the reliability and performance of the machines used must be first class. In developing the RS 851 ride-on sweeper, Nilfisk-Advance has given priority to the all-around technical efficiencies that ensure these needs are met.

		Rear-end steering and a compact wheelbase enable terrific manoeuvrability. Kerbs and small steps up to 17cm high are easily overcome.
		Rear vacuum hose extending the units’ productive use is available depending on the selected machine’s cofiguration.
		High pressure cleaner extending the units’ productive use is available depending on the selected machine’s cofiguration.
		The multi-level dumping system enables emptying of the 1300 litre capacity hopper at heights from 80 to 160 cm.
